Addiction is a medical condition, not a moral failing. It changes how the brain works, and it responds to treatment like other chronic illnesses do. People in Hialeah and Homestead, in Brickell and on the Beach, get better every single day. Usually the hardest part is the first call.

How much does rehab cost in Miami?
It depends on the level of care, how long you stay and your insurance. Outpatient programs usually cost far less than residential care. We check your benefits for free and tell you what you’d likely owe before you commit to anything.
Will my insurance cover treatment?
Most plans include some coverage. Substance use treatment is an essential health benefit under the Affordable Care Act, and federal parity law requires insurers to cover it on terms comparable to medical care.
Do I need medical detox?
If you drink heavily every day, or use benzodiazepines or opioids, stopping suddenly can be dangerous. Alcohol and benzo withdrawal can cause seizures. Medical detox lets doctors keep you safe and comfortable.
Can I keep my job while I’m in treatment?
Often, yes. If you’re eligible, the Family and Medical Leave Act gives you up to 12 weeks of job-protected leave. Many people also choose intensive outpatient programs that run around a work schedule.
How do I help someone who doesn’t want help?
Start with a calm conversation about specific things you’ve seen, at a time they’re sober. Approaches like CRAFT teach families how to encourage treatment without a confrontation. Our family guide walks you through it.
Are you a treatment center?
No. Drug Rehab Miami is a free treatment-navigation service. We help you understand your options and connect with licensed providers. We don’t provide medical care ourselves.
